KFKC Filtered shelter fans are used to supply fresh air. They can be used in two different positions thanks to the by-pass cell.
Normally, air is only passed through the G4 Filter and sent indoors.
When we want the air to be cleaned, it is sent indoors by passing through the G4 cassette filter, active carbon cassette filter and the M6 cassette filter, which is more sensitive than the coarse filter.
By-pass air dams are made with a sliding system. They are used to meet the clean air needs of the shelters.
Not only do they ensure that the air is cleared of all dust and dirt during a battle, but they also have a series of filters that clean it from radioactive spills.
And during peacetime, they have a system that allows air to bypass the filters and stay put.
